Neglect, Taxi Wallet, New Purchases and More!
Well I have a lot to cover! Let me start off by saying that I have neglected this, and for that I apologize! I know that very few, if anyone, is reading this, but it is important to me to continue what I have started. Who knows- someday I may gain quite the following! And now on to business...
It's time to review a product! Today I will be reviewing the Taxi Wallet. Mine is in Caffe Latte, which is a great neutral pattern that consists of a coffee brown and white on a black background. This wallet retails for only $25 and is quite the steal for a price like that! When opened up the wallet has a zippered compartment, a slip compartment, and a kisslock coin purse. It is held closed by two magnets beneath the fabric located on the kisslock coin purse. Inside the slip compartment there is also a metal key ring that you can either keep tucked inside or let it hang out.
So how do I use mine? This is the type of wallet that has no set rules. My method- Cards and cash (folded in half) get tucked in the zippered compartment; coins are kept in the kisslock coin purse; my Razr slips into the slip pocket, and my keys hang loose from the ring. Some other organization suggestions- Try keeping your cards in the coin purse (and don't worry I have not had any trouble with my cards and the magnets, nor have I heard any complaints from others!); slip your cash in the slip pocket; keep some girly things in the zippered compartment! Be creative because this is not a set wallet!
The verdict: I am in love with this wallet. It is easy to fit a lot, and because it can hold a phone and keys there is no need for me to bring a pocketbook to work! The full 5 stars for the Taxi Wallet!

Next on the to do list for today's blog is my newest purchases! I have not updated since I purchased the Taxi Wallet, and since then the new patterns/styles for Fall '09 came out. I did not go crazy on myself, but I will explain why after. I purchased a Carnaby Pleated Tote and a Pirouette Euro Wallet. The Pleated Tote I plan on using in the Fall once school starts because it is large enough to hold my books and my laptop; the wallet I will have to switch to soon so I can review for you!
And now for the reason I did not splurge... I am currently involved in SVF or Secret Vera Friend. It is a Secret-Santa-like gift exchange on the VB Sales page in which everyone fills out a survey about themself and their VB likes and dislikes and then each person is anonymously assigned a random other. You then put together a gift ($50 VB limit plus extras for this round) possibly even with a theme, and you package it up and ship it off. Then you recieve yours, enjoy, post pictures, and wait for your SVF to be revealed! It is a lot of fun both buying and recieving. I would give more details about my specific experience this time around, but you never know who might read this so I will hold back until after the reveal in August. Sorry!
And now it is time to wrap this up. I really am enjoying having a place to just play QVC/HSN; I just love reviewing something that I know and love so that I can share it with others. I hope to get more followers for myself and for VB! Become one of us! :)
I will be back with another review in a few days- Hope you enjoyed reading!
