I Caved
I am caving at this exact moment. One of the ladies has a Taxi Wallet for sale in Caffe Latte- exactly what I was planning on buying! Honestly, if I am going to save a few bucks (7 plus tax saved!) by buying it online, I might as well! I have sold about $100 of VB over the past week or so, so I count this as a trade. My debit card nor my wallet was hurt; Only Paypal came out harmed. Hooray for another new style I can review!
Tonight's review will be for the Let's Do Lunch!
The Let's Do Lunch retails for $28 and is well worth it! It is a lunch bag that stands up at 9" tall. It has a zippered top which opens half way down the bag. Inside you can fit (from my experience of course!) a sandwich in a Glad container, a water bottle, and a snack. The slip pocket inside is the perfect size for an ice pack to keep everything nice and chilly. The cute handles make it easy to carry as you would a purse. My final favorite thing about this is the ID slot on the outside. If you are bringing it to work, slipping your name in that slot is a nice way to claim your food; it's even better for slipping in snack money whether at the beach or for a child at school. Overall this product recieves 5 stars from me- great for any age!
Hope you enjoyed reading!

My First Review!
Well I guess I should admit it: I am currently on a VB embargo. I have been selling some of my unused pieces and well, merely drooling over all of the sales that I see every day on the FB sales board. It's slightly pathetic, but I am very proud of myself! It has been about a month and a half since I have bought something VB for myself (although I have purchased gifts), and all I have done recently is traded. Now that that is out of my system...
I am craving! There are pictures out there of the patterns to be released in a few weeks as well as the ones in the fall, and I am weak beyond belief. I am not obsessing over any of the patterns, but I think they still deserve attention. In order not to cave in on my promise to buy nothing until new releases I will spend my time doing... my first review! Here goes nothing...
The Fall 2009 patterns will be released on June 22. These are my descriptions and thoughts!
Blue Rhapsody- This is a very busy blue/green/white combination that has flowers, swirls, and lots of details. Personally, I am not a fan. :( Although this will look great with a pair of jeans, there is something about those busy patterns that turns me off when it is on larger pieces. Maybe I will have to try out a cosmetic!
Carnaby- This pattern consists of browns, orange, white and a maroon/magenta color. It is very simplified for being a floral print because none of the pattern is outlined (as BR is). While some of the ladies have said that it looks unfinished, I actually like it because of this! Without the outlines, it's not as bright and is more wearable. I already purchased a card case when the preview was out a few months ago, and I like it but am unsure if I will fall 100% in love. Maybe a handbag wouldn't hurt...
Pirrouette- This is the last of the patterns coming out this month. It is a very traditional VB pattern with a black backround and organized tiny flowers in redish/neutral colors. As of right now, this is my favorite of the three. Because it is very classic, it will look great in bags, travel pieces, and small accessories. No worries about pattern placement (a great plus when buying online). The new Classic Black! I will definitely be getting a bag in this- at least! Hopefully one of the new styles will be perfect for it so I can share my opinions with you on here!
Well, I know I have to work on my blog style a bit, but for now I think this is going to work out! I love to share my opinions so hopefully everyone will love to read them :)
Have a great night!

First blog ever!
Hello fellow bloggers. I have been contemplating over some time whether I should start a blog or a vlog about Vera Bradley. Considering that a vlog would most likely attract unwanted viewers, I have opted for a blog!
So why am I making a blog about Vera Bradley? Because I love everything and anything from her! Mostly this will be used for me to put my thoughts down about all of the past, present and future patterns/styles, as well as discussing my recent purchases and my collection. I also love to make recommendations, because I am always trying out a variety of bags and accessories.
For anyone who does not know what Vera Bradley bags are, check out http://www.verabradley.com/ and feel free to comment and let me know what you think! Women who carry these bags all tend to have a strong bond. When we pass someone on the street we know exactly which bag they are carrying and mostly are not shy to comment on it! Whenever I see customers carrying VB at work I always bring up my love of the designer. I am a daily contributer on the VB facebook page, which is another place where we ladies unite.
I suppose I should add... Hi! I'm Jen! Well, I am looking forward to learning how to use this website and sharing my obsession with all of you!
